INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Oats (crushed)
  • ¾ Cup Semolina (Rawa)
  • ½ Cup Curd (dahi)
  • ½ Cup Onions (Pyaaz) (finely chopped)
  • ½ Cup Green Capsicum (Shimla Mirch) (finely chopped)
  • 1 Teaspoon Green Chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • Oil for cooking

METHOD

  1. Combine oats, semolina, curd, onions, capsicum, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, green chilies, salt and enough water in a deep bowl. Ensure that the water is just enough to make a thick batter.
  2. Heat a flat non-stick pan and brush the pan with little oil.
  3. Pour a ladleful of the batter on it and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin circle.
  4. Roast the chilla using a little oil till it turns golden brown in colour on both the sides.
  5. Repeat the same to make more chillas.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
