Hara Bhara Kebab
Recipe for Hara Bhara Kebab

The one kebab recipe that everybody loves !
2 Cups Spinach
2 Pieces Potatoes (medium sized)
2 Cups Green Peas (Matar)
1 Teaspoon Chaat Masala
1 Teaspoon Dry Mango Powder (Amchur powder)
1 Teaspoon Ginger (paste)
1 Teaspoon Green Chillies (paste)
3 Tablespoons Besan
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying
Blanch the spinach in hot water for 2 minutes. Drain and wash them in a cold water. This ensures that the spinach retains its colour.
Finely chop the spinach and keep aside.
Dry roast besan in a small pan till it becomes light brown in color.
Boil the potatoes and peas. Grate or mash the potatoes and keep aside.
Combine the spinach, potatoes, peas, ginger-green chili paste, dry mango powder, besan, chaat masala and salt. Mix well.
Divide the mixture into small portions and shape each portion into a round tikki.
Shallow fry the tikkis using oil, till golden brown spots appear on bothe the sides and they are thoroughly cooked.
Serve with green chutney.
