Recipe for Choco Walnut Fudge

Its a classic recipe of the fudge my mom used to make for me when I was a child. It requires simple ingredients present in every household and no special equipment. Try this heavenly chocolate laden dessert at home to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Synonyms : Cocoa powder combined with condensed milk, walnuts, coconut and butter to make a fudge, Brazilian Brigadeiro with walnut.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Walnuts (Akhrot) (chopped)
  • 1 Condensed Milk Tin
  • 1½ Cups Desiccated Coconut
  • 1½ Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter (melted)

METHOD

  1. Heat the butter in a deep non-stick pan.
  2. Add condensed milk and cook on a medium flame for about 12 minutes while stirring continuously.
  3. Add cocoa powder, chopped walnuts and coconut. Mix well and cook on a medium flame while stirring continuously.
  4. Add the vanilla essence and cook on a medium flame till the mixture stops sticking to the bottom.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a wide plate and let it cool.
  6. Cut it into pieces and serve.
