Recipe for Coconut Custard

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk (Nariyal ka paani)
  • ½ Cup Milk (Doodh)
  • 1 Teaspoon Custard Powder (dissolved in 2 tbsp of milk)

METHOD

  1. Combine the coconut milk and milk in a deep pan and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add the custard powder- milk mixture, mix well to ensure there are no lumps and cook a medium flame for a few minutes or till it thickens while stirring occasionally.
  3. Strain it and pour it into 2 glasses in which you wish to set it.
  4. Once it comes to room temperature keep it in the fridge till it sets firmly.
  5. Serve chilled.
