Recipe for Ice Tea

No matter what you are eating, there is nothing like a refreshing glass of iced tea to accompany it. Once you get the basics correct you can experiment with different flavours, Try our easy recipe to make a basic iced tea.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Pieces Tea Bags
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon juice (Nimbu ka ras)
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Squash
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • 3 Pieces Mint leaves
  • 1 Cup Crushed Ice

METHOD

  1. Dip the tea bags and mint leaves in 1 glass of hot water. Keep aside for for a few minutes or till the flavour of the tea is infused.
  2. Remove the tea bags and add lemon juice, lemon squash and sugar to the infused liquid. Mix well till the sugar dissolves.
  3. Fill all the glasses with crushed ice and pour hot lemon flavoured tea in it.
  4. Garnish it with mint leaves and serve it chilled.
