Recipe for All American Sandwich

Unusual ingredients like pineapple, lettuce, capsicum, mayonnaise and cheese make for this delicious sandwich. Try on days when you are willing to try something different.

  • 2 Tablespoons Sweet Corn KernelS (Makai Ke Dane) (boiled)
  • 2 Tablespoons Pineapple (Tinned) (chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons Green Capsicum (Shimla Mirch) (finely chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons Processed Cheese (grated)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 Pieces White Bread Slices
  • 2 Teaspoons Butter


  1. Combine the lettuce, pineapple, capsicum, mayonnaise, cheese, salt and pepper in a big bowl. Mix well and keep aside.
  2. Apply 1/2 tsp butter each on all the bread slices and keep aside.
  3. Place one slice on bread on a clean dry surface with the buttered side facing upwards, place half of the prepared mixture on it and evenly spread it.
  4. Cover it using another slice of bread with the buttered side facing downwards.
  5. Repeat the same to make one more sandwich.
