Recipe for butter chicken

Marinated Chicken pieces cooked in Rich creamy gravy.

700 Grams Chicken (Murgh)
250 Grams Curd (dahi)
150 Grams Butter (Makhan)
1 Cup Onion (Pyaaz) (sliced)
1 Cup Tomatoes (Tamatar) (chopped)
1 Tablespoon Coriander Leaves (Dhania) finely chopped
2 Tablespoons Ginger garlic paste
4 Pieces Garlic ( लहसुन)
½ Teaspoon Garam Masala
½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (haldi)
½ Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Chicken masala
1 Tablespoon Almonds (soaked overnight)
1 Tablespoon Cashwenuts (soaked overnight)
2 Tablespoons Cream
½ Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
1 Pinch Orange food colour
1 Tablespoon Oil
Wash Chicken pieces gently and remove skin.
Add ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder, Chicken masala, curd, salt and food colour.
Keep in refrigerator overnight.
Heat oil in pan.
Put sliced onions and fry.
Add peeled garlic and some chopped coriander leaves and saute.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for sometimes.
Remove from fire and let it cool.
Grind this mixture with soaked almonds and cashews.
Heat 50 gm butter in pan.
Put Marinated Chicken in pan and cook till it semi done. No need to add water.
Heat remaining 100 gm butter in another pan.
Put kasuri methi in butter.
Add grounded masalas for gravy in pan.
Add salt, garam masala.
Cook on high flame for 2 minutes.
Add cooked Chicken and half of cream.
Cook on low flame till Chicken will done.
Garnish with coriander leaves and remaining cream
