Recipe for Chocolate Crunch Pie

This is a NO BAKE chocolate pie which is quick and very easy to make. It is a great delight for all the chocolate lovers to beat the heat in the summers.

INGREDIENTS

For the Crust

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter (Makhan) (Melted)
  • 200 Grams Digestive biscuits (powdered)
  • ½ Cup Sugar

For Filling

  • 150 Grams Semi Sweet Chocolate (cut into pieces)
  • ¼ Cup Milk (Doodh)
  • 200 Grams Whipped cream
  • 3 Tablespoons Icing Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence

To Garnish

  • Whipped cream
  • Semi Sweet Chocolate (grated - optional)

METHOD

For the Crust

  1. Melt butter in a pan, add biscuit crumbs and sugar and mix well
  2. Remove from heat and set aside to cool and spread the cooled mixture in an 8 inch pie dish and press it down to give a neat look, set aside

For Filling

  1. In a medium pan, heat chocolate and milk until melted. remove from heat and cool.
  2. Beat the cream with icing sugar and vanilla essence.
  3. Gently fold it into the chocolate mixture and pour the mixture over the biscuit crust.
  4. Place in the freezer until set, remove and garnish with grated chocolate and whipped cream.
  5. Sever chilled
